Get cash and check your balance at ATMs
Make purchases anywhere you see the MasterCard, NYCE, and CIRRUS symbols. Funds are deducted from your checking account and recorded on your monthly statement. The Boston Globe Employees Credit Union has installed four (4) ATM's for your convenience. The ATM's are available for your use 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Using ATM's Safely

Memorize your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your ATM Card. Keep a written record of it safely at home.
Record ATM withdrawals in your checkbook, including the service charge if using a foreign ATM.
Don't discard your ATM receipts at the ATM. Not only may you need them to verify deposits, but high tech bandits have been known to use receipts to raid accounts.
Avoid using ATM's at night. (when most ATM crimes take place), in isolated places, or when you are the only other person in the "chamber".
